Heritage Walk and Afternoon Tea at YSP

This special event at Yorkshire Sculpture Park will explore the life and legacy of the formidable female character of the Bretton Estate, Diana Beaumont. She employed Marnock as foreman of her kitchen garden and then her head gardener, and he will feature in some of the stories.

Diana was well-known for inviting the guests of nearby country estates over for afternoon tea. If she enjoyed of their company, a nod was made to her staff, to collect this person’s belongings as they were now a guest of the Bretton Estate! After a guided tour around the lake, receive your invite to afternoon tea in the company of Diana’s legacy at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
