Floral Tea Party; a Talk on Edible Flowers and Their Uses

Have you ever wondered how to make the most of the joys of spring and summer flowers? Learn which flowers in your garden or local hedgerows are edible, how to sustainably harvest them and how to use them in baking or drinks! 

This informative talk with local forager Shony, of Shonys Mushrooms, will teach you all that and more. 

There will be a brief walk around the gardens to take in the visual delights of the spring blossoms, following by freshly made floral teas for you to try and a talk about identification, plus recipes for cakes, syrups and gin-making! 

The afternoon will end with a Q+A session so you can get the most out of the experience and plan your own summer flower experiments! 

Starting at 1pm at the Dorothy Fox Education Centre.
