Theatre in the Gardens

Bring low backed seating, picnic, extra clothing and escape to the atmospheric and beautiful setting of Sheffield Botanical Gardens to experience magical tales of intrigue and passion.

Heartbreak Productions have toured nationally for 25 years and are considered one of the ground breakers in outdoor theatre. Their shows shine a light on the classics from a new perspective and their style is ever adaptable and always high quality. Ultimately, they aim to tell stories that inspire, entertain, challenge and help us come to a better understanding of human beings and how we can live together.

“Gangsta Granny” by David Walliams is scheduled over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th June 2019. In July “Private Lives” by Noel Coward runs on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July followed by “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare on Saturday, 20th July. On Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte is scheduled. Book online at
