PAVILIONS EARN MORE PRAISE EXTRACT FROM THE SHEFFIELD TELEGRAPH 2ND JANUARY 2004 The renovated Paxton Pavilions in Sheffield Botanical Gardens is in the running as a building of the year. It has been nominated in the conservation category in the prestigious RICS Awards 2004, which judge the best of the built environment from around the world. The other Yorkshire entry in the category is the Georgian Theatre in Richmond. Winners will be announced in London in May. |
