Kay Keeton, a member of the FOBS executive, was interviewed by Monty Don on the herbaceous border in the Gardens and the team also visited and filmed several private gardens in the Sheffield area, talking to the owners, including Sue Kohler’s splendid garden at Millhouses. Dr. Kohler MBE is Chairman of FOBS and the Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust.
Altogether a splendid occasion for the Gardens and thanks are due to the Sheffield City Council, Gardens staff, FOBS volunteers and all who helped to make the event a success. BBC Gardeners' World plant swap in Sheffield Botanical Gardens, July 2006 - © Meg Jullien
