  • Run gardening workshops for FOBS and members of the public.
  • Organise guided tours of the Gardens.

  • Publicise the Gardens locally and nationally.

  • Promote the educational aspects of horticulture, particularly to schools.

  • Raise money and finance projects for the Gardens directly and for the Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust (SBGT) Reg. Charity No. 1057845.
  • Assist in the management of the National Collections of Weigela and Diervilla and local collections of ornamental grasses and hardy geraniums.
  • Organise volunteer groups to carry out improvements and maintenance work in the Gardens.
