The first plant sale of 2019 is on Sunday 5 May from 11.00-3pm near the Dorothy Fox Centre which is at the top of the drive off Thompson Road. Entrance is free. There are plant sales throughout the summer and autumn. Please see Listings under "What's On" for more information.
The Gardens are lovely at any time of the year but especially in the Spring. If you bring children remember to find the Bear Pit and say "Hello" to the Bear.

The last summer holiday event is on Wednesday 23rd August. Starting at 1.00 with storytelling for younger children (about 20 minutes) followed by a minibeast hunt where children find, collect and with help identify minibeasts before drawing them. Professors Nigel Dunnett and James Hitchmough will be giving a talk to FOBS on Tuesday, 24th January at 10.00 am on "Horticulture and Landscape Design: Education for the future". Visitor welcome £3.00.
