Art in the Gardens is an annual event in a beautiful venue. Sheffield Botanical Gardens are transformed into an art and craft village, where you can wander round and enjoy (and purchase) all the fine exhibits on display. The whole family can enjoy a day out as there are fun activities to encourage children to enjoy ‘art and the environment’.

There are over 350 artists and crafts’ workers exhibiting more than 4,000 pieces of work. Over the weekend the event is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors.

This year the event takes place on: Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019, 10.30 am – 5.30 pm

The Gardens will be most part closed to the general public on: Friday 6th September, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September. Access will remain open to the Curator’s House restaurant on Friday 6th September (via Clarkehouse Road Main entrance only), but will only be accessible via the event on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September. Sheffield City Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. For further information please telephone 0114 2736433.
